This is a list of realistic to-do list in hopes of continuing to promote the ocean in an educational & trendy way with YOU!
Design ocean themed capsule collections with well known designers
May it be a hat, mug, carpet, bus stop or even public spaces of malls and libaries, my brain is wired to come up with visions that inspire and remind everyone the magic of the ocean.
Obtain sponsorship for marine conservation documentary
“Television” level broadcast is extremely important. There is nothing that can keep us most updated with the world from a well done documentary. One that showcases solely on marine conservation is yet to be done. Perhaps it can even be social short videos, showcasing how marine conservation life can be like, inspiring more to take this as a career path.
Establish a global diving etiquette handbook
At a fancy resturant we have table manners, well so do diving! Too many times I see fins kicking corals, dive guides sticking their hands into corals, micro enthusiasts dishing up organisms to fit their camera lens.. NO! leave the ocean as it is! We must learn to know what is respect and love.
Visit & vouch for reliable marine conservation centers
This is about having the funds and taking time to be hands on and spending at least 3 weeks time at marine conservation centers to make sure their facilities, current projects, align with what potential volunteers are being told to expect.
Safe guard several coastlines with locals
No one knows the coastlines better than the locals who live and hunt there. As industrial fishing takes over, local fishermen are being forced to use aggressive methods to earn a living. Instead of this, isn’t being a guardian to their birthplace a more suitable role? In order to bring order, there must be rangers who apply the laws. In order to bring restoration, there must be daily carers. In order to bring a clean coast, there must be trash collectors.
Broaden “common sense.”
This is a forever on-going project.
